Take Action

There are lots of opportunities to help the Bellingham Branch! We are always hoping that our past students will return to instruct the current Basic Course students, help find speakers, or cook at one of our awesome summer barbeques. Sometimes it’s hard to make the Committee Meetings but if you have some energy to volunteer, here is what we need:

Basic Course Snow I – Open until May 5th
We need a past basic graduate to run the Snow I field trip. Your responsibility would include; performing the pre-trip lecture, contacting current students, organizing the instructors, leading the field trip, and reporting successes to the climbing committee. If you are interested, contact Minda Paul – mindapaul@hotmail.com

Basic Course Snow III (Hard Snow) – Open until July 11th
We need a past basic graduate to run the Snow III field trip. Your responsibility would include; performing the pre-trip lecture, contacting current students, organizing the instructors, leading the field trip, and reporting successes to the climbing committee. If you are interested, contact Minda Paul – mindapaul@hotmail.com

If any member would like to request help with a project or even basic functions of our branch please bring details of your request to the Committee Meeting for review.

Branch Positions

– Open Until Closed

There are important seats in our branch elect that need to be filled as soon as possible. We are just getting to the point that waiting for our members to slip and get town-ridden isn’t working out. We are just too darn safe! If you are ready to maybe slow down on the weekend trips and would like to help the Bellingham Branch in a BIG BIG way, check out the current open positions.
